Nikki is a RMTi Level 1&2 Instructor running courses in Adelaide and other Australian and international locations as requested. Private courses for schools, childcare centres or other workplaces available.

Rhythmic Movement Training International Courses

RMTi One - Focus, Organisation & Comprehension
RMTi Two - Emotions, Memory and Behaviour
RMTi Level 1 & 2 are offered in the following formats:
3 day RMTi 1&2 Course - in person theory and practicum (21hrs)
OR

2 day RMTi 1&2 Practicum - in person practicum (14hrs), with 12hrs online theory to be completed prior to the practicum.

What you will learn:

  • What is the primitive reflex system
  • Factors affecting primitive reflex integration
  • How integrating primitive reflexes establishes postural control in the body and the ability to focus, attend, concentrate, balance, have stamina, learn and control impulses
  • How defensive primitive reflexes establish the ability for the body to feel safe, and have an established sensory system, perception and emotional maturity
  • How rhythmic movements assist to integrate retained primitive reflexes
  • A deep dive into the: Moro, Fear Paralysis, Tonic Labyrinthine, Asymmetrical Tonic Neck, Symmetrical Tonic Neck, Babkin, Babinski, Palmar Grasp, Spinal Galant, Landau and Amphibian reflexes
  • How to test for the above reflexes, their developmental timelines, reflex patterns, functions, triggers, challenges when they are retained and activities to integrate them
  • The RMTi rhythmic movements
  • Additional isometric and other techniques for primitive reflex integration
